03/2011 Roots steel international company Limited, KSA announced it’s acquisition of POLYCO LTD CO. from its owner Bank of Sharjah.

Roots Steel, Established in 2008, is an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization that has grown significantly since the founding in 2009 of its first PEB plant in Syria. Among its latest expansion initiatives is the establishment of a new plant in Egypt operational in the last quarter of 2011 and a new structural steel plant in Jeddah KSA which will be inaugurated by end of 2012.

Roots Steel aims to be the leading global player in the metal building systems and structural steel industries by targeting a combined production capacity of 300,000 MT per year from all its plants to cater several markets in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
